Call of Duty: World at War’s Map Pack 1 was downloaded a million times in its first weekend so a second map pack is a foregone conclusion. Treyarch officially announced it today and revealed what sort of locales the new maps will feature.
Like Map Pack 1, Map Pack 2 will have three normal multiplayer maps and one zombie co-op map. The announcement gives a brief description of each: “Battle to control the river bridge in ‘Banzai’ – a bright jungle map featuring a waterfall and hidden caves. In ‘Corrosion’ face down your enemy in a shattered train yard, and in “Sub Pens” wipe the monsoon rain from your eyes as you struggle over a bombed-out submarine base. The Zombies make a return in ‘Shi No Numa’ (Zombie Swamp) featuring Perk machines, the deadly new Wunderwaffe DG-2, new Achievements / Trophies… and flaming Hell Hounds!”
Map Pack 2 will be released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in June. There was a two week delay between the console and PC release of the first map pack so we could be looking at a similar situation here, too. The first map pack is free for PC owners but costs 800 Microsoft Points ($10) for the PS3/360.

It’s 12:01 AM Pacific, which means that Noblegarden should now be live on all North American realms. Despite the fact that it’s the middle of the night, people are absolutely packed into the starting zones on my home realm, so don’t expect things will be easy just because it’s late!
Keep an eye on WoW Insider throughout the day, because we’re going to be covering the holiday as much as we can. Our own Allison Robert started that already yesterday evening with a special edition of The Overachiever, covering the achievements of Noblegarden. She also has a basic FAQ of the holiday up, should you need it.
Noblegarden Comes to Azeroth
The Noblegarden is now live on european servers and will be available in the US in a few hours. Before you read the “guide” you have to keep in mind that this event is very simple.

I know its only like 1 hour into Nobelgarden, but some issues have already risen that makes something that has the potential to be fun into a nightmare.
First off is the eggs: people are camping the spawn points, making it nearly impossible for someone with a bad connection or a bad mouse to get their eggs. I know of one spot in Falconwing Square, a spriest is able to reach 6 spawn points with out moving. All he/she has to do is click on the egg. Its slightly ridiculous to be able to do that.
This is not supposed to be sit and camp a spawn point, this supposed to be a egg hunt.
Second thing: the soulbound pets. Some people are getting more than one (in fact one of my friends got 3 in the first 30 min). This should not be able to happen. Please make it so the pets can be traded, sold, or not be picked up at all.

This has been a great month for World of Warcraft fans. First, they received the 3.1 patch update with new talent calculator and Ulduar, and after that the 3.1.1 minor update has arrived with bug fixes as you can see in our patch notes. Well, April 26 is a great day for WoW gamers as Noblegarden has started a few hours ago. Shortly after Noblegarden egg hunt went live on European servers, it went live also on the North American servers.
Every time it goes live, Noblegarden comes with new features. Now, Noblegarden has returned to Azeroth, and players will be able to play as of today April 26 until Sunday next week on May 3. The Noblegarden eggs can be found in cities like Brill, Goldshire, Falcowing Square, Kharanos, and Razor Hill, but you will rarely find prizes in the eggs. Also the Noblegarden achievements will be found in the World Events tab, but you will have to get enough chocolate to buy everything you need for the aforementioned achievements.

In honor of Noblegarden, we’re running a special-edition OverAchiever today, dedicated to what you’ll need for the meta-achievement Noble Gardener. Should you finish, not only do you get a spiffy new title, but you also get to check off another set of achievements toward What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been, the yearlong achievement-palooza rewarding a 310% speed Violet Proto-Drake.
Because Noblegarden has been extensively reworked, most of what you’ll be doing this year is completely new, and some of this guide is going to be comprised of educated (or not-so-educated) guesses as to the difficulty of the achievements on the live realms, and tips on how to get them done. I’ll let you know if I just plain don’t know something or have to hazard a guess based on PTR information, but fortunately most of the holiday is pretty straightforward. We’re only going to cover the achievements you need to worry about for the meta, as everything else you can achieve is really based on luck and doesn’t count toward Noble Gardener.

this is the trash that used to be in front of Heroic XT-002 Deconstructor. The trash dished out incredible, unhealable amounts of damage, but we killed them anyway. This trash has since been hotf…

2 schools of thought. Engage him without touching the trash and hope the bots dont agro the trash or actually try to kill the trash. Anyone had any experience as to what works best.
At the point where we’re gonna get xt-002 down its just waiting to get lucky and not have the trash follow through.
—
The trash is easy once you figure out wtf to do.
Just a few hints:
Tank the repairbots away from everyone else.
Kill the scavengers first to remove razorblades from the fight.
Until this happens, constantly be moving, and spread OUT.
